Despite the very best efforts of our vet Mr Furkan and TARO volunteers Levent and Mr G to save our darling girl Nina she failed to thrive and this morning the Angels came and took Nina over the Rainbow Bridge.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to Ninas wellbeing, as you will understand we are all very distraught by this sad news, Nina did not die alone, she was surrounded by people who cared deeply for her and she was not suffering at the end.

R I P sweet girl, you will be missed by so many.

UPDATE ON NINA...
Update on Nina..
*

Despite our volunteers best efforts Ninas condition continued to cause us much concern, we felt the only decision we could make in her best interest was to place her under the full care of our veterinary surgeon Mr Furkan.
*
She is now recieving daily medical baths as well as medication .
*
Its a costly treatment.. as well as the medication involved we now have to pay for the boarding at the vets so funds are still in demand.
*
With your help we can get Nina back to full health and looking beautiful

Nina is a stray dog known to us at TARO .. our volunteers hadnt seen her for a few weeks and were shocked to find her in such a poorly condition today .. immediately she was rushed to our vet , we all feared the worse as the vet ran several tests, one of them.. the most dreaded for Leichmania .. luckily this proved negative and we all breathed a sigh of relief.

All throughout her examination her tail kept wagging

Nina has an extreemly severe case of mange, she will now be kept in seclusion and her treatment has began .. this is a lengthy and expensive process, requiring not only medication but also a special diet to improve her immune system.
